What to know prior to your appointment:
For clients with any history of cold sores/fever-blister/herpes, even if it was when you were a child, contact your physician and request a prescription for Zovirax, Valtrex or Famvir. Please take precaution and still take the medication even if you are unsure if you’ve had cold sores/herpes in your life.
Take 2 days before the procedure, the day of your procedure and 2 days after the procedure as directed and repeat on all visits.
- Dentures, braces and tongue piercings may increase risk of bacterial infection.
- Fatigue can also increase risk of infection; please be sure to be well rest and drink plenty of water days prior to your appointment.
- If you’ve had any kind of lip surgery, please consult with your physician first.
- Lip fillers/injections must be done at least 4 weeks BEFORE your lip blush appointment.
- No alcohol or caffeine / coffee 24 hours prior.
- Avoid blood thinning medication such as Aspirin, Midol, Excedrin, Ibuprofen (Advil), Motrin, Naproxen, Aleve—5 days before and 1 day following your appointment.

Pain Preparation: Though the sensation of micro-pigmentation implantation is minimal, clients respond differently. Some will feel a stronger sensation than others. Overall, procedures require minimal pain preparation. Topical anesthetic will be applied before and during the procedure.
- You must be sure that you are 18+, NOT pregnant or nursing, clear from diabetes or any blood/health conditions
- If you have any symptoms of a cold or illness (sneezing, runny nose, coughing, sore throat, fever) even on the day of your appointment, please contact me immediately to reschedule.
